Richie Hawtin Exclusive Set

(download - descagar)

Beat! beat! drums!--Blow! bugles! blow!
Through the windows--through doors--burst like a ruthless force,
Into the solemn church, and scatter the congregation;
Into the school where the scholar is studying;
Leave not the bridegroom quiet--no happiness must he have now with
his bride;
Nor the peaceful farmer any peace, plowing his field or gathering his
grain;
So fierce you whirr and pound, you drums--so shrill you bugles blow.

Beat! beat! drums!--Blow! bugles! blow!
Over the traffic of cities--over the rumble of wheels in the streets:

So strong you thump, O terrible drums--so loud you bugles blow.
Beat! Beat! Drums!
Walt Whitman

OBJETIF LUNE

After a brief silence, Two Circles Records returns with Objectif Lune the creative summation of French producer Doubting Thomas. His second release on Two Circles, following the exploratory Self-Definition, yields a powerful representation of sonic growth. Coupled with original artwork by Tess Keller the release delivers what it promises, a provocative listen from beginning to end.
"Mellowcore" opens with a deep, rolling vibe, housing a certain bounce unique to Doubting Thomas' style. It is followed by "Along and Gone" which furthers the theme of stripped down soundscapes coupled with captivating hypnotic grooves. Moving in a more bizarre direction "Inconsistent" introduces an abstract vibe garnished with found sound. "Output 12" is a smooth, jazz influenced exploration into rhythm and groove, rounded out by haunting brass instrumentation. British musician Daphne lends her hand on the floor focused "Coming From Under", with haunting synthlines and drumwork that urges the listener to continue on the album's deep and dark path. "Virgule" follows in the footsteps of "Coming From Under" further pursuing the cavernous, deep theme developed throughout the release. The final track brings light to Doubting Thomas' ability to cross genres at ease, "Come Back Tomorrow" is a trip through experimental broken beat. Objectif Lune combines electronic precision with organic freedom coaxing the listener into following Doubting Thomas down his sonic path.

Mauricio Barembuem (a.k.a. Barem) is a young emerging artist from buenos aires, argentina. He was a music student and a guitar enthusiast
since the age of 15. By the age of 19, barem was fully dedicated to creating electronic music shortly after a trip to berlin. In 2003, he started djing and performing live sets of minimal techno. Today, Barem's groovy minimal tracks are based around synthetic samples, analog rhythmic elements and hypnotic basslines. Also integrating rhythmic nuances of his native argentinian roots, barem's work is singularly deep, tracky and heady with a timbral sensibility that is intermittently harmonic. Meanwhile, his sound continues to evolve while he cleverly maintains his own unique style.

In 2006, barem did extensive world touring throughout Europe, South America and North America. At the year's end, he was ranked as the #4 "best newcomer" in groove magazine's annual reader's poll issue. Now that barem is a household name in the techno world, he will continue expanding his sound while constantly djing and playing live around the world. For the present and future, barem takes a step forward by focusing his music productions to the only two families where he feels a strong connection, m_nus and foundsound.

I Feel the Cream - Peaches

Experience the soft side of Peaches in her new video for “I Feel Cream,” the title track of Peaches‘ 2009 album released earlier this year.

“Cream” has always been one of my favorites from the bunch, due in large part to the song’s lush synthesizers and pulsating disco energy. Appropriately, the video takes a hint from the track, featuring a rather subdued Ms. Nisker voguing against an array of bright lights and neon colors like no other anti-disco diva before her.

It has everything I love in a electronic based pop song. Epic chord progressions, cooing vocals, and nice rubbery synths. The single release of "I Feel Cream" will be out the 10th of November, with remixes from Proxy, Larry Tee, & a Cory Enemy remix which is here for you to download. Until then you can get the song by buying her album .

Inspired by the native rhythms of Colombian tribes this 60 minutes set is full of sub-tropical Latin and pan-African vibes that slowly push higher on the back of an ascending bassline.
